THE PARENTS AND CITIZENS ASSOCIATION
The A.C.T Council of Parents & Citizens (P&C) Association is the peak body for all P&C Association in government Primary Schools, High Schools and Secondary Colleges in the A.C.T. It is a representative organization whose objectives are to foster a quality public education system, to provide support services for affiliates and to make representations to the government on behalf of the parents in government schools. It has a particularly important role in promoting parent participation in schools and the system as a whole.

The role of the P&C Association at Belconnen High School is to promote parent participation in the work of the school and to provide a strong, positive community support for the school by encouraging parents to be involved in their children’s’ school in variety of ways.

The general meetings for the Belconnen High School P&C Association are held in the main staffroom from 7pm, on the third Tuesday of each month that appears in the school term.
The dates are published in the Belconnen High School newsletter at the start of the school year. Alternatively interested parents can contact the School Principal or Deputy Principal for additional information.
