COURSE SELECTION ADVICE
From Year 8 onwards, students have subject choices on the elective lines. It is important for students to make their choices keeping in mind the effects on later options, including secondary college and CIT courses. They also need to be aware of the requirements for particular careers.
To assist students in making their choices, an evening meeting is held for parents/carers to explain the school curriculum, focusing on the elective program. While the night is intended for Year 7 students and their parents/carers, everyone is welcome to attend. Care should be exercised in the initial choice as anticipated enrolment numbers impact on the staffing balance
